Hear Technologies is exhibited Monitoring Systems at InfoComm 2022.
I’m Nason Tackett a senior design engineer for “hear technologies”.
We’re here at infocomm 2022.
We basically specialize in personal monitoring.
We first came out with this guy, this was our original back in about 2002, so this was our original hear back system.
It allowed musicians to pick between eight different inputs so that they could get their own headphone monitor mix.
Now since then we’ve come out with several other units.
This is our flagship, this is the here back pro.
This system started out as being a 16 channel system.
But over the years we’ve had people ask you know for more features, more channels, it’s actually got the capability of doing up to 128 channels now.
The hub that goes with it is this guy and it is a a modular system so you’ve actually got different card slots.
So you could populate it with the flavor of input that works with your system whether it’s analog, whether it’s a flavor of digital which we do Dante, Waves, ADAP, MADI and we’ve even got a few others coming in the future.
You’ve also got the ability to distribute to the mixers with these network cards.
We’ve got a virtual mixer, this is great for in-ear so this could connect up to your in-ear.
This is basically the guts of this mixer, controllable either from an app or from another pro mixer.
Now if you don’t need all of those features, we have the octo system, this is an 8 channel.
This is very much like the original here back.
You’ve basically got the ability to come into its hub which is a little different, it’s got either analog or ADAT.
But same great quality sound and same amount of headphone power as the pro system, so really depending on what you need.
One of the new features we have for the pro mixer is this digital overlay.
This is actually a piece that we developed recently.
Originally you would have to label your channels by hand, with this piece that goes on you’ve got the little digital screen, so you can see all of your input names at a quick glance.
We’ve also got the matrix.
This is both a headphone monitoring system as well as inputs.
It’s a Dante device so if you’re already running Dante, then this is a great interface that allows you to bring in either microphones and these are studio quality microphone preamps.
You can also plug in an instrument and then there’s a stereo input so there’s four inputs.
You can monitor those to your headphones and then they also go over the Dante network.
You’ve got four Dante channels two of them are mono and one’s a stereo coming back so it’s a very flexible little box.
Great for recording studios live broadcast things like that.
One of our new devices which is back here, it’s actually a prototype this is a rack mount headphone amplifier.
We are actually still coming up with a name for it we don’t have the official name.
We’re thinking it may be called the quattro or the queue, but it’s some of the same technology you see in these guys, but in a rack mount headphone amp.
It can function either as four separate headphone amplifiers or it can also work as a mixer for four stereo inputs.
And then you can distribute that out to he headphones.
That’s basically our our products so thanks for listening and checking us out for more information you can visit our website:
